We are seeking a dedicated colleague to join our Group Finance team as a Group ESG Controller. In this role, you will work collaboratively with the Strategy & Sustainability team, and colleagues across all GPV sites to drive the sustainability journey GPV is on.

The role encompasses the following main activities and responsibilities:

ESG Data Management & Reporting

  • Collect, compile, validate and consolidate ESG data across all business units

  • Prepare accurate and timely ESG disclosures for monthly, quarterly, half-yearly and annual reports

  • Advise on ESG reporting practices to align disclosures with corporate sustainability commitments

  • Strengthen reporting processes and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to optimise the overall control environment

ESG Analysis & Insights

  • Analyse ESG metrics and KPIs to provide insights towards sustainability targets

  • Provide actionable insights to management and stakeholders, linking ESG outcomes to strategic business objectives

  • Support decision-making with evidence-based analysis that integrates ESG considerations into corporate strategy

  • Identify and drive opportunities to enhance ESG data quality and efficiency

Governance & Compliance

  • Ensure compliance to regulatory requirements and global ESG reporting standards (e.g., CSRD, ESRS, CSDDD, GHG)

  • Provide training and guidance to subsidiaries on ESG reporting requirements, ensuring consistency and capability across the group

  • Prepare and conduct audits, implement controls to safeguard the accuracy of ESG data

Job requirements

BSc degree in finance, economics, or business administration, combined with specialised training or experience in sustainability and ESG reporting.

Else

  • Solid understanding of control environment and audit principles

  • Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail

  • Effective communication skills, ability to work across international teams with both technical and non-technical users

  • Proficient in English (working language)

  • Excellent at handling large volumes of data in spreadsheets (e.g. in Excel, Power BI)

  • Flexibility for occasional business travel to subsidiaries, conferences, or stakeholder meetings as required
